The resin workshop in Cap-Haïtien wraps up

Since March 24, 2025, Maksaens Denis has been leading a resin workshop organized by the Centre d’Art in Haiti’s Nord department. Bringing together eight participants, the workshop explores the integration of resin into visual arts, including painting, photography, and drawing.

Running until April 5, 2025, the workshop takes an innovative approach built around several key objectives:

• Discovering resin: Understanding its properties, varieties, and practical uses.
• Handling techniques: Learning how to work with resin safely while exploring its creative potential.
• Creating original artworks: Experimenting with and producing pieces that incorporate resin and various other materials.

A final exhibition will give participants the opportunity to present their creations, showcasing the skills and knowledge acquired throughout the training.
