Support for artists
Since 1944, Le Centre d'Art has strived to be a dynamic hub that generates and catalogs opportunities for the ever-growing artistic community that has formed within its walls. This includes training future generations of artists through courses and workshops, strengthening the skills of established artists through national and international residencies, and spotlighting an artist whose distinctive work earns them an open creative opportunity.
Support for creation
The Centre d’Art is a space for training and production for artists. It is dedicated to discovering talent, supporting, training, and guiding Haitian artists in their creative work. In recent years, the Centre d’Art has launched several initiatives that promote artistic creation, such as the Visual Arts Artists Support Program, the Atelier CDA, and the Artists’ Days.

Carte blanche
Carte blanche opportunities offer local and international artists the chance to share their expertise with groups of amateur and/or established artists. Through transmission workshops or creative immersion, carte blanche artists use the Centre and its resources to advance their own work while building a bridge that ensures their contribution endures within the community.
Residences
Artists who wish to focus on a specific artistic project can take advantage of the residency opportunities offered by the Centre d’Art or by our national and international partners, shared through our portal.
